Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need
to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.      2 Timothy 2:15

--------
We desire to know God intimately and to make His truth known.
Welcome to the Mennonite Berean website!  Our aim is to experience and express the life of Jesus Christ.  We believe, according to the Scriptures, that Jesus Christ is God's Son and helps us understand what humans are intended to be and do.  We seek to share, experience, and express this life of grace and salvation.
We understand that the call to Biblical Truth is for all people of all denominations.  And as Christian Mennonites we recognize that we are just another small part of the Body of Christ.  Our hearts especially go out to Mennonites that have bought into the doctrines of "Tolerance" and "No Absolute Truth" that has infected much of the Christian Church today.
The Mennonite Church had its beginning in 1525 during the Reformation in Europe.  It was born in a prayer meeting in which a number of people resolved under God to make the Bible their guide for daily living.  These believers suffered much when it was neither popular nor safe to live for Christ.  We place an emphasis on:
  • The authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God.
  • Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and belief in His
death and resurrection by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • Daily discipleship made possible by applying the
teachings of Christ to everyday life.
  • Revelation 3:20 says...
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock..."
The door knob of your heart is on the inside, Jesus won't force His way in.
    You must invite him in!
